When traveling internationally or even domestically, taking different time zones into consideration is important for travel planning. Well, there is no one who understands the importance of on time departure and arrivals than none other than Santa himself. Depending on where you might live, Santa’s Christmas Eve journey to visit children around the world is already underway. See Santa visiting the Great Wall of China by visiting here.

Like checking flight status of travelers who unfortunately might be caught in the havoc of the winter storm that is crippling parts of the United States, we can check Santa’s arrival status to our homes this blessed evening by visiting the American Aerospace Defense Command, also known as NORAD, site: www.noradsanta.org

According to Fox News, 500 travelers are stranded overnight at Chicago’s O’Hare Airport and report several delays at Newark and other major airports, as well as Amtrak delays. But, no fear, Santa has his own reliable transportation that can make it despite any weather conditions!

We can visit the North Pole without actually leaving the warmth of our homes by visiting the Norad site. It is interactive and offers many fun, holiday activities including one winter travel favorite, skiing!

In addition to tracking Santa in Google Maps, you can also track him in Google Earth - which allows you see 3D mountains, valleys and buildings. Visit Norad’s site to see the 3D Santa tracking.

So for a virtual around the world trip and to check on Santa’s whereabouts, visit:  www.noradsanta.org
